Yet, gracious God, let me not dwell in despair over the sufferings I encounter. Ignite my heart with a reminder of the eternal glory that awaits those who trust in You. Teach me to endure through the pain with a heart anchored in faith, knowing that these momentary light afflictions are working in me an everlasting weight of glory. When my mind races with worry and my spirit feels overwhelmed, help me to draw upon the promise that the glory which shall be revealed in us far surpasses any anguish I face today.

Lord, I lift up my eyes unto the hills from whence comes my help, and I find assurance in the hope of what is to come. Let me stand firm in the knowledge that every tear I shed, every burden I carry, and every heartache I endure has a purpose in Your divine plan. Set my mind on the eternal perspective, reminding me that my present sufferings are but a fleeting moment in the grand narrative of Your creation.

"For the earnest expectation of the creature waiteth for the manifestation of the sons of God." Father, I acknowledge that creation itself waits eagerly with a groaning expectation for the day of Your glorious return when everything will be made new. Help me to realize that I am a part of this creation, awaiting my own manifestation as Your child.
