I reflect upon the majestic portrayal of Thy kingdom in Revelation 21:21, where it is written, "And the twelve gates were twelve pearls; every several gate was of one pearl: and the street of the city was pure gold, as it were transparent glass." Lord, how magnificent is Your vision of heaven!

As I meditate on this scripture, I am reminded of the beauty that awaits those who have faithfully walked in Your light. I thank You, Father, for the promise of a glorious place where there are no more tears, no more pain, and no more death. In every challenge we face, remind us that the gates of the New Jerusalem are open for those who seek You.

I earnestly pray, Lord, for those who may be lost, those who have not yet embraced the invitation to enter through those pearly gates. Stir in their hearts a desire for You; bring them to a place of repentance and restoration. Use me, and all Your faithful servants, as instruments of Your peace to guide those in darkness into Your marvellous light. Let our lives be a testament to the hope we carry and the promise that this beautiful city of gold awaits those who accept Your grace.

As I think of the eternal city, I am reminded of the unity of the twelve gates. Each gate represents a tribe, a distinct piece of Your creation. May we reflect that unity in our communities. Lord, dissolve the barriers that divide us and help us to embrace our diversity as a manifestation of Your creativity. Teach us to love one another as You have loved us, that we may embody the unity of the body of Christ while we prepare for our heavenly home.
