Let the cries of the innocent, the displaced, and the oppressed reach Your ears as our prayers ascend. We plead for Your intervention — let justice roll down as waters and righteousness as a mighty stream. Visit those who have shed blood for the sake of righteousness, those who have endured persecution in Your mighty name. You are a God of vengeance as much as You are a God of mercy; Your scriptures remind us that vengeance is Yours. We call upon You to stand firm, to act on behalf of those whose voices have been silenced and whose pleas have been ignored. Show Yourself, O God, as the defender of the weak—the shield of those who long for Your deliverance.

We humbly ask that You might temper our hearts in this pursuit of justice. Help us to reflect Your character, to love our neighbors, including those who oppose us, echoing the compassion You so abundantly expressed in Your earthly walk.
