A Prayer of Acknowledgment and Awe
"Thou art the God that doest wonders: thou hast declared thy strength among the people." - Psalms 77:14

O Most High and Mighty God,
As I bow my heart before You, I reflect upon Your glorious deeds and the wonders You have performed throughout the ages. Truly, as we read in Psalms 77:14, "Thou art the God that doest wonders: thou hast declared thy strength among the people." I come today in humble reverence, recognizing the greatness of Your might and the vastness of Your love, which profoundly moves my spirit.
Lord, I thank You for being the God of wonders, for manifesting Your power in countless ways that unfold in my life and around the world. From the dawning of creation, when You spoke the universe into existence, to the very breath of life You breathed into me, I stand in awe of Your abilities that surpass all human understanding.
You have shown that nothing is too hard for You, O God. In times of desperation, when I have felt lost and overwhelmed, I have witnessed Your wondrous acts of mercy. You have calmed the storms in my heart, restored broken relationships, and provided for my needs in the most miraculous fashions. Each moment of deliverance is a reminder of who You are, and I declare Your strength for all to see.
Lord, I lift up my soul to You, asking that You increase my faith and my understanding of Your wonders. Help me to see with my inner eyes the beauty of what You are doing, even when I cannot comprehend it. Like the disciples who witnessed Jesus walk on water, I too long to grasp that Your strength can uplift me above the tumultuous waves of life. Teach me to trust in Your divine power, to recognize that even in my weakness, Your strength is made perfect.
As I gather with fellow believers, may we glorify Your name together and declare Your might among the people. Let our hearts become vessels of praise, declaring the wonders You have performed—both in our personal lives and in the community we serve. Help us to encourage one another with testimonies that demonstrate Your unchanging nature and Your miraculous intervention.
O God, I am aware that the world often overlooks Your majesty, preferring to rely upon earthly powers and human wisdom. Yet, I choose to proclaim Your truth, to declare Your strength among those around me. Equip me, Lord, as a warrior of faith who bears witness to Your greatness. May my life be a living testimony of Your wonder-working power, shining brightly in a world that is desperate for hope.
Gracious Father, stir within me a spirit of expectation that anticipates the miraculous in every circumstance. Help me to remember that You do not change, and Your ability to perform wonders has not ceased with the passing generations. Let every miracle and every answer to prayer bolster not only my faith but also inspire those who witness it to seek You earnestly.
Finally, dear Lord, as I reflect upon Your wonders, I pray that You grant me a deeper understanding of Your purposes. Help me to realize that sometimes Your wonders unfold in ways I may not anticipate. Teach me to be patient and to embrace the unfolding of Your plans, even when they diverge from my own expectations. Let not my heart be troubled; instead, let it be filled with the reassurance of Your glorious works.
In every trial I face, remind me always that "Thou art the God that doest wonders: thou hast declared thy strength among the people." I pray in Jesus’ most powerful name, believing and expecting to see Your wonders manifest in my life and the lives of those I love. Amen.
