O Lord, our God, Creator of all the heavens and the earth,

These celestial bodies, like Your faithfulness, stand as a reminder of Your majesty and creativity.
As I reflect on the day and consider the night ahead, I bring before You my fears and anxieties. I lay them at Your feet, trusting that You hold the night just as securely as You hold the day. Even in the darkest of times, when shadows loom large, let me find comfort in knowing that You are with me. Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me. Help me to grasp the assurance that whether in daylight or under the serene cover of night, Your presence encompasses me.
Lord, I also pray for those who may feel lost in the night of their lives, who are struggling without the light of hope. Send forth Your Word to heal and deliver them, to guide them to safety. May their hearts be encouraged as they seek You in the quiet depths of their darkness.
