Heavenly Father,

O Lord, You are the Creator of the heavens and the earth. The sun that rises each day and the moon that graces the night sky speak of Your majesty and immutability. Your hand is seen in all that exists; Your power is made evident through the rhythms of nature. As long as these celestial bodies endure, may our hearts turn towards You with a holy fear—a reverence that stems from understanding Your greatness and our dependence upon Your grace. Let our awe for You be as constant as the cycle of day and night, for You alone are worthy of such honor.

Lord, in a world that often turns its back on You, I pray that the reverence for Your name would flourish in the hearts of Your people.
