In Your omniscience, You see the wounds I carry; the fractures within my heart and spirit that keep me from experiencing the fullness of joy You desire for me. I acknowledge that my choices have led me down paths of sorrow, and I yearn for Your forgiveness, restoration, and renewal. As I approach Your throne, I ask that You would cleanse me, as David longed for in his plea, that I might once again know what it is to rejoice in Your goodness and mercy.

O gracious God, as I pray this psalm, I recognize that my joy can only be sustained by You. The world around me can be filled with noise and distraction, which often drown out the melody of hope and gladness You intend for me to experience. Help me, Lord, to turn my ear toward You, that I may hear the gentle whispers of Your love; grant me the ability to discern Your truth amidst the clamor that so easily overwhelms my heart.

May my spiritual ears be opened wide to receive the sound of joy that accompanies Your unwavering love, and may it seep into the very core of my being. Fill my heart with gladness that exceeds mere happiness, a true and abiding joy derived from a relationship with You, my Savior. I long, dear Father, for the exuberance that comes from knowing I am fully loved, cherished, and accepted in Your sight, despite my flaws and failures.

I beseech You, Lord, to heal the brokenness within me. Just as a physician tends to the wounds of the body, apply Your healing balm to my soul. Let those areas that You have rightfully broken—the pride, the ego, the sin—be mended, not as they were before, but transformed. Guide me to a place where the aches and scars become testimonies of Your grace. "That the bones which thou hast broken may rejoice"—I claim this as a promise of Your restoration that brings beauty from ashes and strength from weakness. Let every fracture within me sing praises to You, O God.
