O Lord, my God, Eternal Father, as I approach Your throne of grace today, I come with a heart full of gratitude and reverence for Your steadfast love and unfailing mercy. I acknowledge You, the Creator of the heavens and the earth, the One who knows my innermost thoughts and desires. In the midst of life's challenges and uncertainties, I turn to You with a humble heart, inspired by the words of Psalms 17:5: "Hold up my goings in thy paths, that my footsteps slip not."

Heavenly Father, I understand that the journey of life is fraught with trials and temptations that can cause my heart to wander away from Your divine will. I often find myself torn between what I desire and what You desire for me. Therefore, I implore You today to "hold up my goings in thy paths." I invite You into every area of my life, to lead me and guide me as I navigate the roads ahead. Help me recognize the right paths You have laid out for me, that I may walk in faith and not in fear.

Lord, I ask that You illuminate my steps with Your Word. "Thy Word is a lamp unto my feet and a light unto my path…" (Psalm 119:105). May I find wisdom and guidance in the scriptures; may they shape my thoughts, decisions, and actions in alignment with Your perfect will. As I meditate on Your promises, grant me discernment to distinguish between my fleeting desires and the eternal plans You have for me.

I seek Your strength to uphold me when I am weary, when my spirit is heavy, and my resolve begins to wane. Remind me, dear Father, that I do not walk this path alone. You are my companion, my shield, and my fortress. I pray that Your hand will be upon me, ensuring that my "footsteps slip not." Fortify my faith that I may stand resilient against the temptations that threaten to take me off course. Let Your presence be ever close, so I may hear Your voice guiding me back when I stray.

Lord, I recognize that the world around me can be a distraction, pulling me away from Your path. Help me to focus on You above all else. I seek to align my vision with Yours—to see the world through the lens of love and grace; to act justly, to love mercy, and to walk humbly with You (Micah 6:8). Strengthen my resolve to resist any path that leads to destruction or deviation from Your calling.

As I ponder upon this verse, I am reminded of the many promises You have made to Your people. You, who are faithful, diligent and unwavering, remind me that even when the path is unclear or appears challenging, I can trust in Your promises. Help me to lean not on my understanding but to acknowledge You in all my ways (Proverbs 3:5-6).

Lord, I ask for peace upon my journey. Whether the road is smooth or rocky, grant me the serenity to breathe in Your peace and exhale my worries. May I find comfort in knowing that You are holding me up, guiding my steps, and walking alongside me each step of the way.

As I close this prayer, I place my life in Your capable hands, entrusting You with my future. May I honor You in all that I do, glorifying Your name with my actions and my words. Thank You for holding up my goings and for the promise that my footsteps shall not slip as I walk in Your paths. In Jesus' name, I pray, Amen.
