O Eternal and Almighty God,

We gather before your holy presence with hearts filled with gratitude and awe, recognizing that each day you bestow upon us is a reflection of your marvelous works. As we meditate upon the words of Psalm 118:23, "This is the LORD'S doing; it is marvellous in our eyes," we are reminded of the extraordinary nature of your creation, your grace, and your provision in our lives.

Lord, how often do we become entrapped in the mundane rhythm of daily life, overlooking the splendid wonders surrounding us? Open our eyes, we pray, to perceive the beauty of your handiwork in every moment. Each dawn that breaks is evidence of your faithfulness; each star that adorns the night sky is a testament to your majesty. The mountains rise in glory, and the rivers flow with purpose—all speak of your might. Help us to understand that everything we experience is a testament to your perfect will.

Father, we acknowledge that it is through your sovereign grace that we experience love and joy, comfort and peace. Every blessing we receive is a manifestation of your goodness. We thank you for the gift of life, for the people you have placed in our paths, and for the moments of laughter and joy that lighten our spirits. In the trials that we face, we recognize your hand molding our character, teaching us resilience, patience, and trust.

As we meditate on the marvels of your creation, may we also remember to see your marvelous provisions in times of uncertainty and distress. You are the anchor in our storms, Lord. Even when we do not understand the purpose of our suffering, we can rest assured that it is all part of your divine plan. Strengthen our faith in these moments, that we may be able to declare boldly, "This is the LORD'S doing; it is marvellous in our eyes."

We lift before you the burdens we carry, the worries that cloud our minds, and the fears that paralyze our hearts. Help us to trust in your perfect timing, knowing that everything unfolds according to your will. May we cultivate a spirit that recognizes your hand in our lives, even in the smallest of things—a shared smile, a word of encouragement, or the quiet peace that follows a prayer. Teach us to see the extraordinary in the ordinary, the marvelous in the mundane.

Lord, we also pray for those around us who may be struggling to see your work in their lives. Use us as instruments of your peace, hope, and joy. Let our lives be testaments to your glory, so that others may inquire about the source of our strength and resilience. May our expressions of kindness and compassion point others toward the marvelous works that stem from your love.

As we walk through our days, may we be ever mindful of your presence. Let your Spirit guide our thoughts, our words, and our actions. Remind us constantly to share the story of your marvelous deeds—not just in our lives but throughout the history of your people.

In moments of doubt, when the trials of life loom large, reaffirm our faith through the recollection of your past faithfulness. Undergird our spirits with the assurance that your plans for us are for good and not for harm, to give us a future and a hope. And as we witness your miracles unfold in our lives, may our hearts echo the Psalmist’s declaration: "This is the LORD'S doing; it is marvellous in our eyes."
