Heavenly Father,

We come before You today with hearts full of gratitude and reverence, acknowledging the source of all our blessings and abundance. In the words of Proverbs 3:9-10, we are reminded to "Honor the Lord with thy substance, and with the firstfruits of all thine increase." Lord, I thank You for every good and perfect gift that has come from above. You are the creator of all, and we recognize that everything we have belongs to You.

As I bow my head in prayer, I ask for the strength to honor You with my substance. Help me, O Lord, to understand the importance of placing You first in my life, not just in my heart or my thoughts, but in my actions and my choices. Teach me to use my resources wisely and to share generously with those in need. Open my eyes to see the opportunities around me to give and bless others, and to recognize that in sharing, I reflect Your love and grace unto the world.

Let our giving be a deliberate act of worship, an offering that brings glory to Your name. I ask that You guide my heart to understand the significance of the "firstfruits" of my increase. In all the blessings I receive—be it financial, spiritual, or relational—I commit to placing You first, recognizing that You are the author of my success and prosperity. May my actions demonstrate that I trust in You wholeheartedly, knowing that You provide for my every need.

As I bring my firstfruits to You, I pray for a spirit of generosity to be cultivated in me. Help me to surrender my desire to hold tightly to my possessions and instead to give freely, knowing that as I give, I am participating in Your divine plan for abundance. Father, I ask that You would pierce my heart with compassion for others, so that I might serve my community and support those who are struggling. Let my life be a reflection of Your generosity, where my hands are open to share and my heart remains humble and willing.

Lord, in Proverbs 3:10 it is promised, "So shall thy barns be filled with plenty, and thy presses shall burst out with new wine." I claim this promise today, trusting that as I honor You with my substance, You will pour out blessings over my life that overflow in abundance. Fill my barns, O Lord—my resources, my opportunities, and my happiness. May my life be a living testimony to the goodness of God, a banner of Your faithfulness and love.

Help me to realize that honoring You with my possessions is not simply a matter of sacrifice, but it is a divine exchange grounded in faith and obedience. As I give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, but joyfully, reveal to me the deeper blessings that come from living a life honorable to You. Let me relish in the knowledge that my heart follows where my treasure is, and in giving, I draw nearer to Your heart.

I pray for all who are struggling to trust in this principle of generosity. Encourage their hearts, Lord. Remind them that true wealth is not measured by accumulation, but by the love we share and the hope we instill in others through our generosity. May we learn that while we are called to honor You, we are also inviting growth and new beginnings into our lives.

Thank you, Lord, for Your unwavering grace and abundance. May my life be an offering, a vessel for Your glory. I pray in Jesus’ name, Amen.
