O Heavenly Father,

Lord, we acknowledge the depth and richness of this verse, and we crave the understanding that it offers to our lives.

Lord, we humbly ask You to grant us hearts that are wise and discerning. Help us to seek after knowledge not for its own sake but for the sake of glorifying You and understanding Your creation more deeply. May our minds be open to the lessons of life and to the teachings found in Your Scriptures.
