Heavenly Father,

As I come before You today, I am reminded of the profound wisdom of Your Word in Proverbs 10:11, which says, "The mouth of a righteous man is a well of life: but violence covereth the mouth of the wicked." Lord, I thank You for the gift of Your Scriptures that guide us and illuminate our paths. Your words are true and they bring forth understanding in our hearts.

Father, I humbly ask that You fill me with righteousness, so that my words may reflect Your goodness. I pray that my tongue may be a source of life, just as the verse declares. Teach me, Lord, to be mindful of the power of my speech. Help me to recognize that every word I utter can either bless or curse, lift up or tear down.

Lord, grant me the wisdom to speak life into every situation I encounter. Let my words bring hope to the weary, comfort to the broken-hearted, and encouragement to those in despair. May my interactions with others be seasoned with grace, as I follow the example of Jesus Christ, who spoke words of love, truth, and healing. I desire to be a vessel of Your well of life that overflows into the lives of those around me.

Help me, dear Lord, to cultivate a heart of righteousness. Let my motives and intentions align with Your will, so that my words stem from a pure and sincere heart. I pray for the righteousness that comes not from my own efforts, but from an intimate relationship with You. Cleanse me, Father, from any impurities and selfish desires that may corrupt my speech.

Moreover, I pray that You guard my heart against the influence of violence that pervades this world. Help me to turn away from the harshness and negativity often reflected in conversations. Teach me to deny the temptation to speak out of anger, frustration, or jealousy. Instead, let the overflow of my heart be kindness and compassion.

As I seek to embody Your righteousness, Lord, I ask that You open my eyes to recognize violence when it seeks to invade my thoughts or speech. Allow me to discern the moments when my words may be veiled with aggression or harmful intent. May I always choose to respond with love, patience, and understanding, reflecting Your character in every conversation.

Father, I also lift up those who may not yet know the well of life that is found in You. Grant me the opportunity to share the hope and love of Christ with those whose mouths have been covered by the violence of this world. Help me to be bold in proclaiming Your goodness, that they may too experience the transformative power of Your grace.

As I reflect on my relationships, I ask for forgiveness for the times I may have used my words carelessly or destructively. Cleanse me from any past regrets, and guide me to speak words of reconciliation and healing. May every interaction I have, be it with family, friends, or strangers, bring peace and understanding.

Thank You, Lord, for Your promise that the mouth of a righteous man is a well of life. I pray that I may be a well of life in my community, sharing Your love and wisdom with others. Help me to rise above the negativity that surrounds us and to be an instrument of Your peace.
