Give them wisdom and discernment in their actions and grant them a heart that reflects Your compassion.
As we reflect on the state of our cities and nations, we are reminded, Lord, of Your promise that justice will ultimately prevail. We hold on to the hope that the prey shall not depart, that You see every injustice and will one day bring righteousness to prevail.
In Your mighty name, we declare that we will not succumb to despair. We will be agents of Your peace, proclaimers of truth, and messengers of hope. Help us to embody Your love and justice in our own lives, as we strive to be blessings to those around us. Let our hearts break for what breaks Yours, motivating us to act with love and righteousness in a world that so desperately needs both.
