You declared Yourself as the witness against us, O God, from Your holy temple. I pray that we may never lose sight of the seriousness of this statement. In this prayer, I also lift up the nations before You, acknowledging that Your call goes out to the whole earth. May leaders and rulers recognize the weight of their responsibility to their people and to You. Guide their hearts to follow justice and mercy, to create pathways of peace where discord reigns. May the cries of the oppressed be heard and answered, as we collectively turn to You for healing and restoration.
As we wait for Your return, help us never to forget our place as witnesses to Your greatness. Help us to shine Your light as cities on a hill, compelling others to seek after You. I pray that in our spiritual walk, we may honor Your holy temple, serving as living temples ourselves that reflect Your glory.
