Gracious and Loving Father,

As I bow before You in humble adoration, I am reminded of the solemn words spoken by our Lord, Jesus Christ, in Matthew 7:23 – "And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity." These words reverberate in my heart like a clarion call to examine my life and my walk with You.

O Lord, I come before You with a heart that yearns for authenticity in my faith. I desire not just to be a name whispered among the crowd of believers but to be truly known by You, the Creator of the universe, my Redeemer, and my Guide. So often, in this world, it is easy to get caught in the façade of religion, where the act of worship becomes a ritual stripped of heart and sincerity. Forgive me, Lord, if my prayers have occasionally felt like mere whispers in the wind, lacking fervor and intimacy.

Father, I confess that there have been times when my actions have not aligned with my confession. I have stumbled in my walk, yielding to temptations that led me away from Your path of righteousness. I recognize, Lord, that iniquity festers in the heart when I stray from Your teachings and values. Teach me to recognize the subtle encroachments of sin in my life as I navigate each day, and give me the strength to resist the allure of iniquity, that my heart may remain pure before You.

Help me, O God, to cultivate a fruitful relationship with You that is rooted in love, obedience, and fervent devotion. May my faith not be a mere performance for others to see but a deep, personal connection that reflects Your grace and mercy in my life. I long for the assurance that when I call upon You, You recognize my voice as that of a beloved child, one who earnestly seeks to know You more deeply.

Lord, I grasp onto the promise that You desire fellowship with us. Your Word reminds us that You are a God who seeks those who earnestly seek You. I pray that You would help me to seek You with my whole heart, to love You with every fiber of my being, and to develop a relationship that flourishes in understanding, trust, and mutual love. Teach me to abide in You, Lord, so that I can bear fruit that remains and reflects Your glory.

As I consider the eternal implications of being known by You, Father, I ask for Your guidance in fulfilling Your purpose for my life. Empower me to live in a way that stands out as a beacon of Your light in a dark world. May my life be a reflection of Your character, filled with love, compassion, and truth, that it may draw others towards You rather than away.

O Lord, grant me discernment, that I might recognize the false narratives that whisper in my ear, telling me that mere works or outward appearances can replace the authenticity of knowing You. Help me not to be swayed by the accolades of men or the transient praises of this world but to be anchored in the unshakeable truth of Your Word.

And when I stand before You on that great day, may I hear not the tragic words of separation, but the sweet assurance of belonging: "Well done, thou good and faithful servant."

Let my life be characterized by genuine faith and repentance, where I continually seek reconciliation, renewal, and intimacy with You. May I bring forth a legacy that attests to my relationship with You and leads others to discover the joy of being known by the Father.
