Heavenly Father,

Verily I say unto you, They have their reward."

I recognize the temptation to seek validation and applause from others. May my acts of generosity be cloaked in secrecy, lest they lose their value in the sight of men. When I help the poor or support a cause, let my focus be solely on fulfilling the call to love my neighbor as myself. May I be guided by the principle that whatever I do for one of the least of these, I am doing it unto You. Teach me, Father, that every act of kindness, no matter how small, is significant in Your Kingdom.

Lord, as I navigate through the temptations of pride and the allure of applause, I ask that You fortify my spirit with humility. Create in me a heart that delights in giving without expectation.
