Heavenly Father,
We come before you today, reflecting upon the profound moments witnessed at the foot of the cross, as recorded in Matthew 27:55-56: "And many women were there beholding afar off, which followed Jesus from Galilee, ministering unto him: Among which was Mary Magdalene, and Mary the mother of James and Joses, and the mother of Zebedee's children."

Guide us to those who are lost and hurting, so we may be vessels of Your love, just as she was, always seeking to point others to Your goodness.
Lord, we also remember Mary, the mother of James and Joses. She stood firm at the foot of the cross, displaying the unique strength required of mothers—selfless, resilient, and nurturing. Help us to uphold and honor the mothers in our lives and in our communities. May we appreciate their sacrifices and support them as they seek to instill faith in the next generation. May we also become like mothers to one another, nurturing and uplifting our fellow believers in their struggles and triumphs.
Furthermore, we lift up the mother of Zebedee’s children, who witnessed your suffering yet chose to embrace her calling. Grant us the same courage to rise above our fears, Lord, that we may embrace our roles in Your kingdom. Help us to serve You with the fervor that these women demonstrated, always keeping our eyes on Christ, even when the going gets tough.
Father, we ask that in our lives, we would not stand afar off but be closely knit to community, actively following You and ministering to those around us. Instill in us a desire to draw nearer to You. Let us not be spectators of our faith but participants, eager to serve and love one another as You have called us to do.
Father, as we meditate on the faithful service of these women, let us be moved to action. May we rise up, not just as individuals, but as a community dedicated to Your mission. Help us to identify the needs around us, to bind the wounds of the broken-hearted, to proclaim freedom to the captives, and to give sight to the blind. Lead us, Lord, to create a ripple effect of service that begins with us but spreads far and wide, multiplying the impact of our efforts for Your kingdom.
As we remember those women who followed You, let us not forget our own call to ministry. Strengthen us to answer that call, encouraging us to journey together in faith and purpose. Empower every aspect of our lives, that we may reflect Your love in our actions, words, and deeds. May we support one another, just as they did, and may our hearts be forever attuned to Your calling.
