Heavenly Father,

As I bring my heart before You today, I pause in reflection of the steadfast obedience exhibited by Your disciples as described in Matthew 26:19: "And the disciples did as Jesus had appointed them; and they made ready the passover." These words resonate deeply within me, stirring a yearning for the kind of faithfulness that seeks to honor You in every aspect of life. Lord, I bow before You in humble reverence, acknowledging that my life is a canvas upon which You desire to paint a glorious narrative of obedience, service, and preparation.

Father, as the disciples were ready and willing to fulfill the task assigned to them, I pray that I, too, may cultivate a heart willing to obey Your commands without hesitation. Help me to understand the significance of preparation in my spiritual journey. Just as the disciples prepared for the Passover, reminding us of the deliverance You provided to the Israelites, I desire to prepare my heart to receive the blessings and the revelation of Your presence in my life.
