Gracious and Loving Father,

Moreover, I contemplate the injustice that Jesus endured—being mocked, beaten, and rejected in silence—yet He remained resolute. It is a profound truth that strikes at the foundation of my faith. Lord, help me to embody the resilience of our Savior. Grant me the ability to face mockery and disdain with the grace of Christ, so that my actions may reflect Your love even in moments of hostility or misunderstanding. Teach me to respond to antagonism not with anger but with quiet confidence that my faith is firm.

As I witness the questioning of the elders, priests, and scribes, I recognize my own skepticism and my moments of doubt. I pray for a heart that seeks truth and a mind that rests in the assurance of Your Word. When I encounter challenges to my faith, let my response be firm and rooted in knowledge, proclaiming the sovereignty of Jesus as the Son of God who sits at Your right hand.

Lord, I pray that we wouldn’t just recount Peter’s story as a tale of failure, but rather as a profound narrative of redemption and transformation. May I—and all believers—be emboldened to testify to Your glory, proclaiming, “Thou art the Christ, the Son of the living God.”
