Heavenly Father,

I come before You with a heart full of gratitude for the blessings You have poured into my life. As I sit in silence, I am reminded of the words from Luke 12:17, where the rich man contemplated within himself, saying, "What shall I do, because I have no room where to bestow my fruits?" These words resonate deeply within me, Lord, stirring within me a sense of reflection about the abundance that I have been entrusted with.

Lord, I thank You for the fruits of my labor and for the provision that You have graciously bestowed upon me. Each gift, every resource, and all talents are a testament to Your benevolence. I recognize that with abundance comes responsibility. Help me, O Lord, to never become blinded by material wealth or possessions. Let me not fall into the trap of hoarding and selfishness, but rather remind me that everything I possess ultimately belongs to You.

As this rich man pondered his dilemma, I too am faced with questions when I think of my own abundance: What shall I do with the talents You've given me? What shall I do with the resources that overflow in my life? Give me the insight to recognize that abundance is not merely for personal gain or comfort, but for sharing and blessing others.

Help me, Lord, to seek ways to use my gifts and resources to serve others in need. Whether through acts of charity, kindness or sharing knowledge, may my response to my abundance reflect Your love and grace. Let my heart be a vessel that overflows, spilling generosity into the lives of those around me. You said that it is better to give than to receive (Acts 20:35), and I desire to embody this ethos in every facet of my life.

Father, I pray for the wisdom and discernment to manage well that which You have given. Grant me clarity in understanding the right choices to make—be it with my time, my talents, or my treasures. May I not become so engrossed in my own affairs that I lose sight of the cries of those who are struggling. Open my eyes to the opportunities to help others, and give me a willing heart that is eager to respond.

It is so easy to become complacent when we have more than enough, to think of ourselves above the needs of the community and to retreat into our world of comfort. I ask, dear Lord, that You break any barriers within me that hinder my capacity to share. Let the riches I harbor not become my chains, but instead be used as instruments of freedom and hope in the lives of others.

I also pray for protection against pride—the pride that comes from mistakenly believing that all I have is by my own doing. Help me to remember that my abilities are gifts from You, and that without You, I can do nothing (John 15:5). May humility guide my actions, and may I always give glory to You, who is the source of all good things in my life.

Lord, instill in me a spirit that constantly seeks to give rather than to receive. Ignite a passion in my heart to create spaces where the fruits of Your blessings can be shared. May my hands be willing to work, my feet ready to go, and my mouth ever ready to speak words of hope and encouragement.

In conclusion, I ask for wisdom in how I navigate the blessings that You have given me. Help me to boldly say in my heart, as the rich man had to ask himself, "What shall I do?" With the abundance You provide, empower me to make choices that honor You, and that uplift and inspire those around me. Let my life be a reflection of Your generosity and a testimony of Your goodness.
