A Prayer for Divine Anointing and Ministry
"¶ This is the portion of the anointing of Aaron, and of the anointing of his sons, out of the offerings of the LORD made by fire, in the day when he presented them to minister unto the LORD in the priest's office;" - Leviticus 7:35

Heavenly Father,
I come before You with a heart full of gratitude and reverence, acknowledging Your greatness and the profound mysteries of Your ways. As I reflect on the words of Leviticus 7:35, where it is written, "This is the portion of the anointing of Aaron, and of the anointing of his sons, out of the offerings of the LORD made by fire, in the day when he presented them to minister unto the LORD in the priest's office;" I am reminded of the sacred calling and the divine empowerment bestowed upon those who seek to serve You.
Lord, just as Aaron and his sons were anointed to carry out their priestly duties, I pray that You would pour out Your anointing on those who are called to minister in various capacities.
In this modern age, as in ancient times, we recognize the necessity of Your Holy Spirit to guide and empower Your servants. I ask that You would fill them with wisdom and understanding, with courage and strength, to fulfill the responsibilities they have been entrusted with.
Father, help them to remain humble in the face of service, knowing that they do not act by their own might, but by Your Spirit, which is a gift given out of Your love.
As Aaron was set apart to offer sacrifices and lead worship, grant that Your ministers today may lead others into Your presence with pure hearts and steadfast spirits. May their offerings be honorable before You, reflecting the holiness of Your name.
Lord, I pray for a generous outpouring of Your provisions in their lives, both spiritually and materially, that they may never lack what they need to carry out their calling. Just as the offerings made by fire were a sweet savor unto You, may the lives of these ministers be living sacrifices, holy and acceptable before You. Teach them the importance of their role in the spiritual well-being of their communities, and help them to serve with genuine love and compassion.
I also lift up those who are discerning their call to ministry – the Aaron's of our time. Encourage them in their journey and confirm their calling. Let them feel the weight of anointing and know the joy that comes from serving You. Lord, grant them a spirit of perseverance as they face challenges and trials, reminding them that their labor in You is not in vain.
As we celebrate the anointing that has been passed down from generation to generation, may we also recognize our part in this Holy calling. Let us not hold back our own lives from Your service. Help us to realize that while we may not be priests in the traditional sense, we are all called to be ambassadors of Christ, to minister to others in love and truth.
Oh Lord, make us worthy to partake in this anointing, for we are all partakers of the heritage that You have set apart. Cleanse our hearts, renew our minds, and equip us with the tools necessary for ministry in our current time.
May our actions reflect the character of Christ, showing the world Your love through our lives. Let our hands be instruments of healing, and our words be agents of hope. Empower us, Lord, to bring the light of Your truth into dark places, to minister to the broken, and to spread the good news of salvation.
In the name of Jesus, I pray that we may fulfill our individual callings and support one another in unity, uplifted by the anointing that breaks every yoke. Your word does not return void, and I trust in Your promises. May the portion of Your anointing flow abundantly in my life and in the lives of all Your servants.
Amen.
