These words remind me of Your intimate desire to communicate with Your people, to guide us, to instruct us in the ways of righteousness, and to reveal the depths of Your divine truth.

Heavenly Father, I praise You for the countless ways You have chosen to speak throughout history. From the whisper of Your still small voice to the thunderous urging of the burning bush, You have always sought to engage with humanity. Just as You spoke to Moses on the holy mountain, I yearn for that same closeness and connection. Lord, I ask that You prepare my heart to receive Your words, just as Moses did, with eagerness and humility. Help me to be like Moses, who did not shy away from Your command but approached it with obedience and faithfulness.

As I reflect on this verse, help me to understand that Your words are not just for the distant past but are living and active today. You are still speaking to us, Lord.
