Heavenly Father,

We come before You today with hearts full of gratitude and reverence, seeking Your guidance and wisdom as we reflect on the profound journey of leadership in our communities. In the Book of Judges, we find a pivotal verse that introduces us to Ibzan of Bethlehem, a leader who played a significant role in governing Israel. The verse states, "And after him Ibzan of Beth-lehem judged Israel." (Judges 12:8, KJV)

Lord, we thank You for the lessons embedded in these ancient texts. We recognize that leadership is not merely a position or a title, but a divine calling to serve others. Just as Ibzan was entrusted with the responsibility to judge Israel, we know that You have placed individuals in our lives to guide us and to help navigate through the complexities of our communal existence.

Father, we ask for wisdom and discernment for those in positions of leadership today.
