O Sovereign Lord, the God of Hosts, we come before Thee today, hearts open and spirits yearning for understanding and unity among Thy people. As we reflect upon Thy Word, particularly Judges 12:1, where the men of Ephraim rose up in anger against Jephthah, crying out in frustration, ‘Wherefore passedst thou over to fight against the children of Ammon, and didst not call us to go with thee? we will burn thine house upon thee with fire,’ we seek wisdom and guidance in our own disputes and conflicts, both great and small.

Lord, we acknowledge that conflict often arises from misunderstanding and a sense of exclusion. Just as the men of Ephraim felt betrayed, we sometimes find ourselves alienated or overlooked within our communities. We ask for Thy mercy to open our eyes to the reasons behind such unrest.
