A Prayer of Gratitude and Reverence for Our Wise Savior

"To the only wise God our Saviour, be glory and majesty, dominion and power, both now and ever. Amen." - Jude 1:25

"To the only wise God our Saviour, be glory and majesty, dominion and power, both now and ever. Amen." - Jude 1:{verse.verse_number}

O Lord our God, the Only Wise God, as we come before You today, our hearts are filled with awe and reverence for Your majesty and glory. We lift up our voices in unison, acknowledging the truth of Jude 1:25, which declares, "To the only wise God our Saviour, be glory and majesty, dominion and power, both now and ever. Amen." In this moment of prayer, we seek to deepen our understanding of Who You are, embracing every aspect of Your glorious nature as we submit our lives to You.

Heavenly Father, it is with thankfulness that we recognize You as our Savior. You have called us out of darkness into Your marvelous light, redeeming us from the pit of sin and despair. You have extended Your loving hand to us, freeing us from the chains of iniquity. May we never forget the greatness of Your salvation! We praise You for the sacrifice of Your Son, Jesus Christ, who bore our sins and bore the full weight of our transgressions upon the cross. In Him, we find the perfect example of obedience, love, and the ultimate display of Your wisdom in plan and purpose.

O God of all wisdom, our hearts are humbled as we acknowledge that You are the source of all understanding. We look out into the world and see the many challenges that confront us, both personally and communally. In a world filled with confusion, chaos, and uncertainty, we are grateful that we have a wise God upon whom we can rely. You delight in imparting wisdom to those who seek You earnestly. Help us to cultivate a spirit of humility so that we may actively seek Your guidance. May we continually turn to Your Word, the Scriptures, as the foundation of all wisdom that equips us for every good work. Teach us, Lord, to meditate on Your laws and to hide Your Word in our hearts, that we might not sin against You.

We recognize that in You there is dominion and power. You are sovereign over all creation, and nothing escapes Your notice. As we survey the challenges we face, both in our lives and in the world around us, we hold fast to the truth that Your plans and purposes will not be thwarted. In the face of trials and tribulations, remind us that You reign supreme and that every situation is under Your authority. Help us to trust in Your power, knowing that You will work all things together for good for those who love You. May we never give in to doubt or despair, but instead embrace the knowledge that You are with us in every circumstance, providing comfort and strength to endure.

Lord, as we meditate on this verse, let our hearts respond in gratitude for Your glory and majesty. Your attributes are innumerable, and we stand in awe of Your holiness, Your righteousness, Your love, and Your faithfulness. We pray that our lives would reflect Your character, displaying Your glory to those around us. May our thoughts, words, and actions serve to honor You, allowing others to see You in us. We desire to bring You ultimate glory in everything we do, that it would be evident that we acknowledge You as our wise God.

We also acknowledge that the glory is not for ourselves but belongs entirely to You. May we be humble vessels, allowing Your light to shine through us in a world that desperately needs hope. As we do so, we commit our lives and endeavors to You, trusting in Your sustaining power that will carry us from now until eternity.

To the only wise God our Saviour, be glory and majesty, dominion and power, both now and ever. Amen.
