Heavenly Father,

As I come before You today, I am filled with a deep sense of reverence and awe for Your Word and the profound truths it reveals. Lord, I am reminded of the scripture from the book of John, chapter 1, verse 2: "The same was in the beginning with God." This verse resonates within me, drawing my thoughts towards the eternal nature of Your existence and the divine relationship that intertwines You with all creation.

In the stillness of this moment, I pause to reflect on the magnitude of what it means that You were present at the very beginning. You, O Lord, are not just the author of time, but also its eternal keeper. I thank You for the truth that before the universe was crafted, before the stars were spoken into existence, and before the foundations of the earth were laid, You were there—an omniscient Being, full of wisdom and love.

As I contemplate Your presence in the beginning, I am reminded of the order and purpose that You established at creation. In chaos, You brought forth light, and in darkness, You instilled hope. Lord, I marinate in gratitude for the ways You have ordered my own life; for the times You have intervened, and for Your providential care that leads me through life’s uncertainties. Just as You were present in the creation, I know that You are present in my circumstances now. There are moments when I feel lost, as if wandering through a wilderness, yet I trust that You are there, guiding and shaping my journey according to Your will.

Father, I am profoundly aware that this truth not only pertains to the cosmos but extends to every individual soul. You were there with each of us before we were formed in our mother’s womb. The same creative spirit that breathed life into the first man and woman breathed life into me. Knowing this fills my heart with a sense of purpose and belonging. I was not an accident; I was known and cherished from the very beginning. Thank You for the love You have for each of us, Lord, a love that transcends time and circumstance.

Help me to embody this understanding in my daily life. Help me to reflect Your light in my actions and words, to be a beacon of hope to those around me. Just as Your presence was vital in the chaos of Genesis, may my life be a channel through which Your peace, joy, and love flow into a world that often seems overwhelmed by darkness.

Lord, I also come before You, asking for a heart that seeks to know You more deeply. Teach me to decipher the wisdom in Your eternal nature. Encourage me to dwell in Your Word, as I understand that through it, I can glimpse the essence of who You are and the glorious way in which You have been working throughout history. Let me never forget that Your presence with me mirrors the presence You established in the beginning.

In moments of doubt, remind me that Your plan is perfect and endless. When I face trials, may Your eternal nature reassure me that You are not bound by time and that Your faithfulness stretches beyond my understanding. Let me hold fast to the truth that You were there with God, beautiful in unity and divine in purpose, giving me the courage to trust in Your promises.

As I conclude this prayer, I rest in the promise that You who were there in the beginning remain with me today and forevermore. Thank You for being the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End. May my life reflect the glory of Your presence, past, present, and future. In Jesus’ Name, I pray, Amen.
