O Sovereign Lord, the Creator of the heavens and the earth,

As I come before You in humility and reverence, I am reminded of the profound words of Job: "What then shall I do when God riseth up? and when he visiteth, what shall I answer him?" (Job 31:14 KJV). This verse resonates deeply within my spirit, stirring within me a sense of awe and introspection about Your holy presence and call to accountability.

Father, as I contemplate the magnitude of Your presence, I recognize that You are the ultimate judge of our hearts, our thoughts, and our actions. Your eyes see all, and there is nothing hidden from Your gaze. You are the God who formed me, breathed life into me, and knows every secret I keep. How can I stand before You without trembling, without a deep awareness of my own limitlessness and imperfection?

As You arise, O Lord, I know You come with authority and righteousness. You are a God of justice. I seek to understand how I must prepare myself for that moment when You visit my heart and soul. Help me to reckon with the fact that every deed done in secrecy, every thought unspoken, and every choice made in the shadows is laid bare before You. I lay my pride at Your feet and ask for forgiveness for those times I have acted apart from Your will.

Teach me to cherish Your presence and to approach You with a spirit of sincerity. May I never be caught unaware of Your nearness or put off by the thought of accountability. In those moments when my heart strays, may Your Spirit whisper within me, calling me back to truth. Make me discerning, Lord, to recognize my flaws and to humbly confess my failures.

When You visit, O God, what shall I answer? I desire to have words of praise on my lips, true and honest expressions flowing from the deepest corners of my heart. Help me to be a vessel of gratitude, recognizing all the blessings You pour over me each day. As I reflect on Your goodness, it strengthens my resolve to walk uprightly — to seek justice, love mercy, and walk humbly before You.

In my daily encounters, Lord, help me to act with integrity. May I stand firm against the injustices of this world and uphold what is right in Your eyes. Let love and compassion flow through my actions and words, reflecting Your character amidst a broken and hurting world.

When You visit, may my response reflect the relationship I share with You: a union of trust and faithfulness. Help me to draw near to You daily, seeking guidance in prayer and through Your Word. I want my answer, in that day of reckoning, to be a reflection of my steadfast devotion to You — that I may say, "I did my utmost to follow You, Lord, and to love as You taught me."

Lord, I acknowledge that my life will be presented before You — every choice, every moment in time, every heartache and every joy. Give me the strength to stand tall, not in my own righteousness, but in the grace that You have bestowed upon me through Christ. Let my answer to You be one of joyous surrender, acknowledging Your sovereignty.

As I wait for that day when You will visit, I commit to living intentionally, filled with gratitude and a desire to bless others. May my heart not be troubled, but transformed by Your love. In every waking moment, remind me that I must prepare to meet You. May my life echo that I have answered You well, living not for myself, but wholly for Your glory.
