Lord, as we reflect also on the themes of harvest, we recognize that You are the Lord of the harvest. We ask that You renew our fields that feel dry and barren, bringing rain to parched soil in our lives. Help us to see that every labor we undertake is for Your kingdom, and may our hearts be ever turned towards the joy of the harvest. May we be diligent sower of love, truth, and grace, willing to work tirelessly and faithfully, even when it feels laborious and unyielding, trusting that in due time, we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.
Finally, we surrender our fears and anxieties into Your capable hands. Your Word promises us peace in the midst of turmoil and assurance that You will never leave us nor forsake us. Let us take comfort that, even in the crushing moments of life, You work all things together for our good and Your glory.
We put our trust in You, mighty God, believing wholeheartedly that You are cutting off the oppressor and leading us back to our true home—a place of safety, love, and restoration in You. In Jesus' precious name, we pray.
