Most Holy and Righteous God,

While we do not rejoice in the destruction of the wicked, we recognize that it is a necessary aspect of your justice. Give us compassion for those who are lost. Instill within us a desire to reach out, to offer Your love and truth without condemnation, reflecting the heart of Christ who died for all, even for those who continue to rebel.
As we contemplate the fate of Babylon, let us also think of the hope You offer. Even amidst desolation, Your people can find restoration and renewal. May we actively participate in building Your Kingdom, proclaiming the good news of salvation, and inviting others into fellowship with You.
Help us to internalize the lessons of Jeremiah 50:13, that we may live lives that honor You and reflect Your glory in a world often marked by despair. May we be Your stewards of love—agents of peace in a time of turmoil—proclaiming Your message until the day You return.
