Help me to resist the urge to revert to familiar patterns that are rooted in fear, rather than in love and faith.
May I understand that lasting sustenance comes from the Bread of Life, who is Christ Jesus. Help me to feast on Your Word daily, to find nourishment for my soul in Your truths that bring hope, strength, and reassurance.
Heavenly Father, I bring before You all those who are captivated by the fear of their current circumstances, who are contemplating escape into their own figurative Egypts. May You soften their hearts to recognize the futility of seeking shelter away from Your presence. Equip them with the spirit of discernment to make choices aligned with Your will, abandoning any thoughts that lead to despair.
Lord, in all things, remind me that You are my refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). When the storms rage, when the trumpet of fear sounds loud in my ears, I choose to dwell in the secret place of the Most High, to abide under Your shadow of protection. May I trust that You alone can provide the peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7), and the sustenance my soul truly craves.
As I seek clarity and direction, I surrender my fears to You, asking for courage, wisdom, and unwavering faith. Thank You for hearing my prayer and for being my reliable guide. In Jesus’ precious name, I pray.
