We come before You to recognize the truth of Your Word as proclaimed through the prophet Jeremiah, who conveyed Your voice in Jeremiah 12:17: "But if they will not obey, I will utterly pluck up and destroy that nation, saith the LORD." Father, these words echo across time, reminding us that obedience to Your commands is not merely a suggestion but a divine imperative that holds the fate of nations in their balance.

Lord, we stand in the gap for our nation and the world at large. We witness, with dismay, the disobedience that pervades our societies, the rebellion that flows like a river through our hearts, and the unwillingness to heed Your truth. As we bow our heads, we plead for mercy, beseeching You to awaken our hearts to the importance of obedience to Your will.

Yet, we often fail to reflect Your glory, succumbing to temptations and distractions that pull us away from Your righteous path. Teach us, Lord, to prioritize Your commandments in our daily lives.
