Convict our hearts whenever we act with contempt towards others. Remind us of the truth that, in Your eyes, we are all equal and deserving of grace. In Your love, there is no place for disdain or arrogance. You invite everyone to draw near, no matter their station or sins.
Father, we also pray for those who are caught in the snare of self-righteousness themselves. May they encounter the truth of Your Word and the convicting power of the Holy Spirit. Open their eyes to the reality that self-importance does not equate to holiness.
