Father, we understand that the day referred to in this scripture symbolizes a time of reckoning and purification. We ask that You help us prepare our hearts for that day, understanding that You desire not just our external acts of worship but a genuine transformation from within. Lord, cleanse us of any pride that clings to our achievements, and strip away the false bravado that we often wear as armor against our vulnerabilities. Help us to identify the "tinkling ornaments"—the superficial embellishments we use to garner acceptance, recognition, and self-worth.

O God, as You remove these ornaments of pride, allow us to see the beauty in simplicity and humility.
