Heavenly Father,

Father, we ask that You open our eyes to the idols that we may have set up in our lives. What kings have we erected in our hearts, thinking they might bring us fulfillment or guidance? Forgive us for the reliance on anything that diverts our attention from You. Sweep away those distractions, and renew our hearts to seek You alone as our King.
Lord, lead our communities, our nations, and our world to recognize Your kingship. May we, together, turn to You in repentance, realizing that salvation is not found in political power or human wisdom, but solely through the grace and mercy of our King. We pray for those in authority that they may be guided by Your truth and righteousness, becoming instruments of Your will.
As we live in obedience to Your Word, may our hearts be aflame with a desire to honor You, our King. May our lives reflect Your love, and may we testify to the goodness of Your sovereignty. Let us proclaim to the world that You are the King of kings and the Lord of lords, the One who saves and reigns forevermore!
