A Prayer for Strengthening Faith and Diligent Seeking
"But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him." - Hebrews 11:6

O Heavenly Father,
In Your infinite wisdom, You have gifted us with the precious promise encapsulated in Hebrews 11:6: "But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him." Lord, as I bow before Your throne today, I acknowledge my need for faith that pleases You, a faith that trusts in Your goodness, Your plans, and Your promises.
I come before You, dear God, recognizing the importance of faith in our journey with You. Lord, I confess that, at times, I have faltered in my belief. Doubts have crept in, clouding my vision, and causing hesitation in my heart. Forgive me, O Lord, for my lack of faith. Help me, dear Father, to understand that without faith, I am unable to please You. I desire to please You in all my ways, to walk in alignment with Your will, and to be a reflection of Your glory in this world.
Lord, I yearn to come to You, believing wholeheartedly that You are who You say You are. You are our Creator, the Alpha and Omega, the One who sees the beginning from the end. Your Word reassures us that You are a faithful God who stands with us through every trial and tribulation. Help me to cultivate a heart that trusts in Your essence—that You are good, that You are loving, and that Your thoughts towards us are always for our good. Strengthen my belief in Your character and Your promises, so that I can approach You with confidence and assurance, knowing that You are ever-present and ever-powerful.
I claim Your promise that You are a rewarder of them that diligently seek You. O Father, instill within me a spirit of diligence as I seek after You. Let my heart burn with desire for Your presence, for communion with You, and for the understanding of Your Word. Teach me to seek You with the urgency of spirit and a fervent heart, knowing that it is in the seeking that I will find You. I ask that You lead me towards the paths of righteousness, guiding my steps as I pursue intimacy with You. Make me aware of the distractions that pull me away from Your presence, and grant me the discernment to prioritize my time in worship, prayer, and study of Scripture.
I recognize that true faith requires action; it calls me to step out of my comfort zone and embrace the unknown with a hopeful heart. Help me, Lord, to take those bold steps of faith. When challenges arise, may I hold firm to Your promises, knowing that You have equipped me for every good work. May my faith be unwavering, grounded in the understanding that You are my anchor, even amidst the storms of life.
Heavenly Father, I thank You for the countless rewards You have in store for those who diligently seek You. I ask that You fill my heart with hope as I draw near to You. Let me not be discouraged by the trials I face, but rather see them as opportunities to deepen my faith and reliance on You. May I bear fruit that is evident to all, showing the world the power of faith—a faith that transforms lives, heals wounds, and restores brokenness.
As I end this prayer, I commit to seeking You with all my heart, with all my soul, and with all my mind. I believe that You are worthy of my trust, that You will faithfully reward my diligent seeking, and that together we will cultivate a relationship that pleases You above all else.
In the name of Jesus, who is the author and perfecter of our faith, I pray. Amen.
