A Prayer of Acknowledgment and Anticipation

"¶ Behold, it is come, and it is done, saith the Lord GOD; this is the day whereof I have spoken." - Ezekiel 39:8

"¶ Behold, it is come, and it is done, saith the Lord GOD; this is the day whereof I have spoken." - Ezekiel 39:{verse.verse_number}

O Sovereign Lord God,

We come before You today with hearts full of reverence and awe. You are the Creator of all things, the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End. Your holy presence fills the heavens and the earth, and we stand in humility as we acknowledge Your supreme authority over all creation. As we meditate on Your Word, which says in Ezekiel 39:8, "Behold, it is come, and it is done, saith the Lord GOD; this is the day whereof I have spoken," we are reminded of Your faithfulness in fulfilling all that You have promised.

Lord, the statement "it is come, and it is done" echoes through our hearts, reminding us that You are a God who keeps His Word and who actively brings to pass Your divine will. We are gathered in Your presence to express our gratitude for the countless ways in which You have demonstrated Your might and faithfulness throughout history. Just as You spoke through the prophet Ezekiel, we recognize that each word You have declared carries the power to transform our lives and alter the course of nations.

We reflect on the days in which we find ourselves — days filled with uncertainty, doubt, and upheaval. Yet, we remember that Your plans for us are good and full of hope, as stated in Jeremiah 29:11. As we witness unfolding events around us, both in our personal lives and in the world at large, help us to recognize the significance of the moments You have ordained.

Lord, help us to behold what You have already accomplished, to see the evidence of Your actions in our lives and in the history of our people. Let us not overlook Your hand at work amid chaos and confusion. Open our eyes to the signs of Your fulfillment as we look outward and inward. You are the God who does not merely allow events to transpire; You orchestrate them according to Your perfect will.

As we cry out to You, remind us of the days when You intervened in history, of times past when Your judgments and mercies were made manifest. Just as You prophesied to Israel through Ezekiel, we await the fulfillment of Your promises in our generation. Teach us to trust in Your timing, for we know that You do not lie. If You have spoken it, it shall be done. Prepare us to be a people who anxiously anticipate Your divine plans coming to fruition.

Lord, instill in us a spirit of perseverance and faithfulness as we hold fast to Your promises. May our days be marked with an unshakeable hope that looks to the future with joy and expectation. Encourage us in our darkest hours, reminding us that today is a day of great importance in Your plan. As we face trials and tribulations, may we declare together that "it is come, and it is done" — Your promises fulfilled in Christ Jesus.

Heavenly Father, we plead that we may be instruments of Your peace and love in this world, declaring Your truth to those who walk in darkness. Let us share the good news of Your kingdom, proclaiming Your victories and promises to all nations. Reignite within us a passion for Your Word, that we may never forget the power of the scriptures in our lives. May we hold tightly to each prophecy, each promise, and each blessing You have bestowed upon us.

Thank You, Lord, for the assurance that Your plans will not be thwarted. You have declared that this is the day whereof You have spoken, and we rejoice in the truth that Your purposes will stand forever. We lift our prayers in faith, trusting wholeheartedly that every promise You have made is "Yes" and "Amen" in Christ.

In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
