Oh Sovereign Lord, Almighty God, Creator of the heavens and the earth, I come before You today, seeking Your divine attention as we meditate deeply upon Your Holy Word. In Ezekiel 28:21, You command, "Son of man, set thy face against Zidon, and prophesy against it." Lord, while this verse speaks to a specific time and place, the essence of Your message reverberates through the ages, resonating with our current world that is plagued by injustice, corruption, and disobedience to Your statutes.

Father, as I set my face against the evil that permeates our society, I ask for the strength and courage to proclaim Your truth. Guide me as I stand firm in faith, not just for Zidon, but against any fortification of darkness in my life and the lives of those around me. Help me to discern the areas where Your prophetic voice needs to be proclaimed, to speak lovingly yet boldly against all that opposes Your will.

Lord, Zidon, which was a hub of commerce and influence, became a symbol of pride and arrogance, reluctant to listen to the words of wisdom and correction that You offered through Your prophets. I pray that we, Your people, do not become like Zidon. Help us to remain humble, recognizing when we may have taken our eyes off Your guiding principles, when we have succumbed to materialism, and lost the essence of serving You and our communities.

In these troubling times, we see many 'Zidons' rising in our cities—places filled with greed, oppression, and a blatant disregard for You. I prophesy against these powers that seek to elevate themselves at the expense of others. I ask for Your shattering justice to pour forth like a mighty river. May the haughty be humbled, and may the oppressed find refuge in Your presence. You stood against Goliath and offered a path of victory against overwhelming odds; remind us of this truth as we strive to combat the evils surrounding us.

Heavenly Father, as I reflect on my own life and the people around me, I see areas that require prophetic insight. The sins of Zidon—idolatry, corruption, and arrogance—linger today. May Your Holy Spirit guide me to confront these sins in myself and my community. Equip me to prophesy with the authority of Your Word, calling forth repentance for those who have strayed from the narrow path. Help us to understand that the call to prophesy is not merely a religious duty but a divine mandate that comes with the heavy burden of compassion that You have instilled in our hearts.

Lord, I pray for those who have suffered under the hands of the unrepentant. May they hear Your voice calling them out of the shadows, assuring them that You see their plight and that justice will be served. Use us as vessels of Your love and truth—reconciling the lost, restoring the broken, and reigniting hope in the despairing.

In a world increasingly hostile to Your truths, grant us wisdom, Lord. Teach us how to respond with love while resisting the forces of darkness. May my prophetic voice become one of clarity, guided by Your principles, shining bright against the backdrop of confusion and fear that bleeds into every corner of society.

As I prophesy against Zidon and all its manifestations today, I hold fast to the promise that You are for us and not against us. I trust in Your sovereign authority over every city and nation. May Your kingdom come and Your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. Lord, be my strength, my guide, and my protector.
