A Prayer of Commitment and Devotion to the Lord's Holy Mountain
"For in mine holy mountain, in the mountain of the height of Israel, saith the Lord GOD, there shall all the house of Israel, all of them in the land, serve me: there will I accept them, and there will I require your offerings, and the firstfruits of your oblations, with all your holy things." - Ezekiel 20:40

Heavenly Father,
We come before You today with hearts full of praise and deep reverence for who You are—the Creator of the heavens and the earth, the Almighty God, and our loving Father. In the book of Ezekiel, You remind us of Your holy mountain, the sacred place of Your presence, where You promise to accept us and our offerings. As we reflect on this powerful verse, Ezekiel 20:40, we declare, “For in mine holy mountain, in the mountain of the height of Israel, saith the Lord GOD, there shall all the house of Israel, all of them in the land, serve me: there will I accept them, and there will I require your offerings, and the firstfruits of your oblations, with all your holy things.”
Lord, we acknowledge that Your holy mountain represents a place of closeness and communion with You. It is in this sacred space that we desire to dwell, to serve, and to worship You in spirit and in truth. We seek to understand the depth of our calling as Your people, to be fully devoted to You and to commit our lives and our resources in service of Your divine purpose.
Father, we confess that life’s distractions often pull our hearts away from this commitment. We are tempted by the allure of worldly desires and the busyness of daily responsibilities that dilute our devotion to You. Forgive us, Lord, for allowing anything to come between us and our relationship with You. Help us, O God, to draw near to You, to ascend to Your mountain, and share in the glorious communion You desire for all Your people.
As we gather around Your holy mountain, we pray for the unity of all who believe. May the family of God—the house of Israel—come together as one to serve You, to bring our collective offerings, and to lay down our lives in worship. Help us to recognize the significance of community in our worship: the beauty of praying together, serving together, and loving one another as You have loved us.
Lord, we ask that You would accept our offerings not just as a formality but as reflections of our hearts. Our prayer is that our firstfruits—the best of what we have—would be offered to You in gratitude and love. Teach us to give sacrificially, to offer our time, talents, and resources to advance Your kingdom here on earth. Help us to see the good works You've prepared for us to walk in and to be faithful stewards of all that You have entrusted to us.
Father, we desire to bring forth our oblations, our sacrifices, and our holy things before You. May they be pleasing in Your sight and seek to glorify Your name. We understand that with every offering, there comes the expectation of accountability. Help us to live with integrity and transparency, honoring the commitments we make to You and to one another. Teach us to live lives that reflect Your holiness and righteousness as we strive to fulfill our calling.
O Lord, as we gather in Your presence, we ask for a fresh outpouring of Your Spirit. Fill us with a passion for worship, for service, and for reaching those who are still far from You. May our actions and our offerings reflect the light of Your love to a world in desperate need of hope and salvation.
In this sacred time, we commit ourselves anew to You. We choose to abide in Your holy mountain, to seek Your face, and to serve You wholeheartedly. Enable us, Lord, to be vessels of Your grace and messengers of Your truth.
In the name of Jesus Christ, our Savior, we pray,
Amen.
