O Sovereign Lord, Creator of the heavens and the earth, I humbly come before You today, reflecting on the profound message from Your word in Ezekiel 11:2, where it is written, "Then said he unto me, Son of man, these are the men that devise mischief, and give wicked counsel in this city." Lord, this verse unveils the reality of the world we live in—a world where mischief is often crafted in the hearts of men, and where wicked counsel seems to seep into every corner of society.

Gracious Father, I acknowledge that You are not only aware of the presence of evil and corruption among us, but You are also sovereign over it all. I seek to understand the weight of this scripture and the role I am called to play in the midst of such deception. Lord, grant me discernment to see the truth behind the voices around me. Help me to recognize the counsel that does not align with Your Word, that does not bear the fruit of Your righteousness, and that seeks only to lead astray.

As I navigate my life, both in my personal walk and within my community, I ask for Your wisdom to shine more brightly than the lies that abound. Teach me to weigh every word and counsel against the backdrop of Your holy scripture. May I not be swayed by persuasive rhetoric that promotes division, hatred, or selfish ambitions. Instead, may I cling tightly to the teachings of Jesus Christ—who is the Way, the Truth, and the Life. Let His teachings and example guide my thoughts, words, and actions.

Lord, I bring my concerns before You regarding those who devise mischief in our cities. I pray for a mighty revival of righteousness, that hearts might be turned back to You. For every individual who seeks to lead others astray with wicked counsel, change their hearts, O God; for every misleading agenda that seeks to create chaos, I pray for Your intervention. You are a God of mercy and grace; remind us of the power of repentance and the possibility of transformation through the saving grace of Christ.

In my interactions, give me the strength to stand firm in the truth, even when it is unpopular or challenging. Equip me with the courage to speak out against wickedness, to call things by their right names, and to uphold the values of Your kingdom. Let me not be lured by the comfort of silence amid wrongdoing. Instead, inspire me to be a voice of reason, truth, and hope in a world that is often quick to conform to the ways of evil. May I be an agent of Your love and justice, standing for those who cannot stand for themselves.

Heavenly Father, I pray for the leaders in our communities, our cities, and our nations—those in positions of influence and power. Give them wisdom and integrity; surround them with people who speak truth and righteousness. Let there be a cleansing of the counsel that dominates our societal structures, that those who lead may be inspired by a spirit of justice, compassion, and equity. May they seek guidance from You, the ultimate source of wisdom, rather than from the deceitful plots of man.

Finally, Lord, I ask that You fortify my own spirit and the spirits of all who seek to follow the path of righteousness. Help us not to become weary in doing good, for we are reminded that in due season we shall reap if we do not lose heart (Galatians 6:9). Let every action we take to promote justice, love, and mercy be rooted in a deep commitment to Your heart and Your will.
