A Prayer for Divine Wisdom and Willingness in Service

"And every wise hearted among you shall come, and make all that the LORD hath commanded;" - Exodus 35:10

"And every wise hearted among you shall come, and make all that the LORD hath commanded;" - Exodus 35:{verse.verse_number}

Heavenly Father,

As I come before You today, I am reminded of the profound words in Exodus 35:10, ‘And every wise hearted among you shall come, and make all that the LORD hath commanded.’ Lord, I stand in awe of Your divine wisdom and the call You have placed upon our lives to serve You with both our hearts and hands. Today, I seek Your guidance and ask that You fill me with a wise heart that understands Your commands and delights in doing Your will.

Father, I recognize that wisdom begins with You. Your Word tells us that the fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom. May I cultivate a deep reverence for You, acknowledging Your greatness and authority in all things. In my pursuit of wisdom, help me to immerse myself in Your scriptures, reflecting on the truths they contain and allowing them to penetrate my heart and mind.

I pray for a wise heart—one that is discerning and capable of making sound decisions aligned with Your purposes. In a world filled with distractions and false wisdom, help me to distinguish between what is good and what is acceptable in Your sight. Give me insight, Lord, to know how to respond to life's challenges, and grant me the courage to choose the path that brings glory to Your name.

As You called the wise-hearted among the Israelites to construct the tabernacle and make all that You commanded, I ask for a heart willing to serve. Your commands are often met with a mixture of excitement and apprehension, but I choose to embrace the calling You have placed upon my life. Use me as an instrument to carry out Your plans, not for my glory, but for Yours alone. Teach me how to diligently work in the service of others, reflecting Your love in every act that I undertake.

Lord, help me to work alongside those who are wise-hearted, those who are devoted to fulfilling Your commands. Surround me with a community of believers who desire to glorify You through their lives. Lord, may our hearts unite in purpose, working collectively towards the fulfillment of Your divine plan. Let our talents and gifts complement one another, as we come together to build and serve in Your name.

I pray for a spirit of generosity to flow through my actions, that I may give of my time, resources, and energy selflessly in response to Your calling. Help me to see every task—whether large or small—as vital to the work of Your kingdom. Let me remember the words of Paul, who admonished us in 1 Corinthians 15:58 to be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that my labor is not in vain.

Furthermore, Lord, grant me perseverance in the face of challenges. When I encounter obstacles that threaten to divert me from Your commands, remind me of Your strength that is made perfect in weakness. Help me to stay focused on my tasks, persistent in faith and dedicated to seeing Your will fulfilled through my efforts.

Lastly, I ask for Your grace to recognize and respond to the needs around me. Open my eyes to see where I can serve and uplift those who are struggling. May my wise heart be a conduit of Your love, bringing comfort and hope to the broken-hearted.

In all that I do, may I continually seek today and every day to make all that You have commanded. May it be my earnest desire to follow faithfully where You lead, repeating the words of Isaiah, ‘Here I am, send me!’ Lord, I trust in Your plans, and I lay my ambitions at Your feet.

In the precious name of Jesus, I pray,

Amen.
