O Lord Almighty,

God of all wisdom, I pray for the leaders and authorities in my life, much like Esther had to approach King Ahasuerus. Strengthen their hearts and minds that they may govern with discernment and righteousness. Let them be receptive to the good that I seek to present before them. I understand that favor is a gift bestowed from heaven; thus, I ask for Your grace to cover me, that they may see not only me but the influence of Your spirit in my life.
As I reflect on what it means to find favor in Your sight, I remember the ultimate favor given through the sacrifice of Your Son, Jesus Christ. Thank You, Lord, for this gift of salvation that empowers me to walk in confidence. By His grace, I can approach my challenges with courage, hanging on the hope that You are able to navigate me through complexities.
In this endeavor, I also lift up those who may hinder my requests or act out of selfish ambition—like Haman—against me. I pray that their hearts would be softened. Create in them a spirit of understanding and empathy, so that they may recognize the importance of justice and kindness. Let their eyes be opened to the truth that Your ways are higher than our ways and that our petitions, when presented with humility and sincerity, can bridge divides.
Lastly, O Lord, grant me patience to wait for Your perfect timing. As Esther proclaimed she would act "to morrow as the king hath said," may I rest in the assurance that You are at work even when I cannot see it. Teach me to cherish the process, trusting that in Your hands, my requests are safe.
