I thank You for the gift of faith, that precious shield You have bestowed upon me, as stated in Ephesians 6:16: "Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked." Lord, I acknowledge that this faith is not merely an abstract concept but a tangible force guarding my heart and mind against the onslaught of trials and temptations that life presents.

Father, I recognize that the enemy is relentless, launching fiery darts of doubt, fear, and despair towards me. But I declare that my faith is anchored in the truth of Your Word. It is a shield that can absorb the impact of these darts, transforming what could be deadly blows into mere sparks that cannot harm me. Lord, help me to lift this shield high, to make it a part of my daily armor as I navigate through life’s battles.

Grant me the wisdom to recognize the fiery darts that come disguised in the form of worry and anxiety.
