Heavenly Father,

In the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, I come before You with a heart full of gratitude and a spirit eager to serve. I thank You for the incredible example set forth by Your servant Philip, who, as recorded in Acts 8:5, went down to the city of Samaria, and preached Christ unto them. I hold onto this scripture not just as a historical account, but as a clarion call for all believers: to go forth and share the good news of Your Son, Jesus Christ.

Lord, I beseech You to instill within me the same fervor and boldness that empowered Philip to embark on his mission. Let me not be confined by the walls of complacency or fear. Remind me of the urgency to share Your Gospel in a world yearning for truth, love, and purpose. Just as Philip faced the Samaritans, a people of diverse backgrounds and beliefs, ignite within me a deep compassion for those around me who do not yet know You. Help me to see them through Your eyes, recognizing their need for salvation and Your transformative love.

Father, as Philip preached Christ, I earnestly pray that You equip me with wisdom and understanding. Grant me clarity of speech and a heart that resonates with Your message. I desire to deliver Your word with passion, not merely as a duty, but as a radiant light drawing others to the hope we have in You. Open my mind to comprehend the depth of Your love and the power of the Gospel so that when I speak, I shall do so from a place of conviction rooted in Your truth.

Lord, I ask for divine appointments and opportunities to preach Your Gospel. May I encounter those ripe for hearing about Christ—the broken-hearted, the lost, and the confused. Just as Philip's journey led him to the city of Samaria, guide my steps as I navigate through life. Lead me to individuals and communities that are desperately seeking answers, that they may stumble upon the light of salvation through my testimony.

Holy Spirit, I invite You to work within me and through me. Fill me with the boldness that characterized the early disciples. When fear threatens to silence my voice, remind me that I am empowered by Your presence. Shine Your light through me, so that even in my weaknesses, Your strength may be made perfect. Teach me to rely wholly on You, trusting that every word I share is not in vain when it is guided by Your Spirit.

God of mercy, let me not forget to pray for those who hear Your word. As Philip preached in Samaria, may our conversations about Christ lead to hearts being softened and lives being transformed. I pray for an outpouring of Your Spirit upon those whom I encounter, just as it descended upon those in that Samaritan city. May the seeds of faith be sown, and may they grow deep roots until salvation is fully realized in their lives.

I also lift up the church, asking You to inspire our leaders and congregations to take up the mantle of evangelism. May we collectively strive to reach the lost and preach Christ boldly in every circumstance, whether in our homes, workplaces, or communities. As we unite in purpose, help us to foster a culture of outreach and compassion, that others may see Your love manifest through our actions.

Finally, I pray for perseverance. Sharing the Gospel can sometimes lead to rejection or hardship, just as it did for many of Your faithful servants. Strengthen my resolve and keep me steadfast in my mission. May I remember that the battle is not ours, but Yours, and that our efforts can bear fruit far beyond what we can see.

With a heart yielding to Your will, I commit my life to be a vessel for Your message. Let me be like Philip—ready to go, ready to preach, ready to love. Thank You, Father, for the marvelous privilege of preaching Christ and for the joy of being Your instrument in this broken world.
