Heavenly Father,

We come before You today with humble hearts, recognizing Your sovereignty over all things. We thank You for Your word, which guides and instructs us. As we reflect on the words of Acts 5:37, we are reminded of the rise and fall of those who lead others. We acknowledge that history often tells the story of men like Judas of Galilee, who, in the days of taxing, gained a following but ultimately perished, leaving his adherents dispersed.

Lord, we desire to understand the lessons hidden within these verses. Guide us as we study the nature of leadership and influence amidst a world filled with charlatans and deceivers. And let us never forget that those who follow after You will not be dispersed but will stand firm in faith and unity, as we await the glorious return of our Savior.
