A Prayer for Unity and Miraculous Signs

"¶ And by the hands of the apostles were many signs and wonders wrought among the people; (and they were all with one accord in Solomon's porch." - Acts 5:12

"¶ And by the hands of the apostles were many signs and wonders wrought among the people; (and they were all with one accord in Solomon's porch." - Acts 5:{verse.verse_number}

Heavenly Father,

We come before You today with hearts filled with gratitude and reverence, recognizing Your greatness and the marvelous ways You work in the lives of Your people. As we reflect on the words of Acts 5:12, ‘And by the hands of the apostles were many signs and wonders wrought among the people; (and they were all with one accord in Solomon's porch’, we are reminded of the power that is unleashed when Your children come together in unity, in faith, and in alignment with Your will.

Lord, we thank You for the legacy of the apostles, who were empowered by the Holy Spirit to perform signs and wonders that testified to Your glory and validated their ministry. We acknowledge that it is not through human strength or wisdom that we see these miraculous occurrences, but it is through Your divine intervention and the humble obedience of those who are called by Your name. We pray that we would be vessels like they were, willing to be used for Your purposes and for the advancement of Your kingdom.

As we gather, Father, help us to be of one accord. Just as the apostles united in Solomon’s porch, we ask for a spirit of unity among us today. Remove any divisions that may exist, heal any rifts that may separate us, and enable us to see one another through Your eyes. Teach us, Lord, how to love and support one another in our differences, so that we may stand strong together as a body—a reflection of Your love and grace in a fractured world.

We also beseech You to pour out Your signs and wonders among us once more. We recognize that the miracles of healing, restoration, provision, and transformation are still very much within Your power and desire for Your people. Stir up our faith, so that we might believe not only in You but also in the works You can accomplish through us. May we be bold in our prayers and steadfast in our trust, believing that You can and will perform great works in our midst.

Lord, as the apostles did, may we step out in faith, knowing that everything we do is for Your glory. May we seek to do signs and wonders not for our own acclaim, but to point others to You and to deepen their faith in Christ. Fill our hearts with compassion for those who are hurting, lost, or in bondage, and give us the courage to act. Use us, we pray, as instruments of Your peace and channels of Your hope.

Father, let us not forget that the signs and wonders are a mere reflection of the greater miracle You have worked in our lives—the transformation of our hearts. We thank You for saving us, for giving us new life, for pouring Your Spirit into us, and for the promise of eternity with You. May all that we do stem from the love and gratitude we have for Your sacrificial gift. As we desire to witness Your works amongst us, may we also commit to living lives that mirror Your holiness and love.

Help us to be mindful, Lord, of the importance of gathering together. Let our community be a sanctuary where Your presence dwells richly, where fellowship thrives, and where encouragement abounds. As we come together, may Your spirit saturate our meetings, and may we expect great things to happen as we call on Your name.

In the name of Jesus, we pray for unity, for miraculous signs, and for a powerful movement of Your Spirit among us. We trust in Your faithfulness and look forward to what You will accomplish in and through us.

Amen.
