Heavenly Father,

As I come before You today, I am drawn to the words of Acts 28:24. It reads, ‘And some believed the things which were spoken, and some believed not.’ Lord, this scripture encapsulates the human condition—our responses to the truth of Your Word. I thank You for the gift of faith and the opportunity to engage with You through your Holy Scriptures.

Lord, as I reflect on this verse, I am reminded of the diverse responses among Your people. Even in the days of the apostles, there were those who welcomed the message of hope, salvation, and love, while there were others who turned away, hearts hardened and minds closed off to Your truth. I pray for a heart that is always open to You, that I may be among those who believe wholeheartedly.

I ask You, Almighty God, to increase my faith, to deepen my understanding of Your Word, and to make me receptive to the teachings You lay before me. Help me to absorb the truth of the Gospel—to see beyond the mere words and grasp the profound implications of Your divine love made manifest through Jesus Christ.

Lord, I recognize that belief is a gift from You. The daily grind of life can often lead to doubt and uncertainty; fears can loom large, and the burdens I carry can become overwhelming. In those moments of struggle, remind me of the promises contained within Your Word. Let me always return to You in prayer, seeking clarity and strength to trust in Your plan, even when it is not apparent to me. Just as some chose to believe in the scriptures spoken, may I be resolute in my faith, anchored in the knowledge that You are good, You are just, and You are always working for my good.

I also recognize that belief is intertwined with the concept of free will. Just as some chose to reject the message of the apostles, many around me may do the same. I pray for those who are skeptical, for those who hear Your words but do not absorb their significance. Lord, I ask that You soften their hearts. Lead them to those who can nurture their understanding and who can share the truth with compassion and grace. May their eyes be opened to the beauty of Your love, and may they surrender their doubt to You, who is the author of faith.

Lord, help me to engage with the doubters and the seekers with humility and patience. Give me the wisdom to know how to address their inquiries, the courage to share my testimony, and the compassion to walk alongside them in their journeys of faith. May my life be a shining example of Your grace and truth—believing wholeheartedly, yet full of love for those who are struggling.

O Heavenly Father, Your Word is a lamp unto my feet and a light unto my path (Psalm 119:105). Illuminate my journey with Your light and guide me in Your truth. I ask You to equip me with discernment so that I may engage with a world filled with varying beliefs and understandings. Help me to navigate conversations with respect and kindness, upholding the value of every soul You created.

May I always remain grounded in my faith, taking heart when others fall away while continuing the good fight of faith—knowing that each soul is precious to You. And as I reflect upon the words of Acts 28:24, let me always be found among those who believe the things which are spoken.
