Heavenly Father,

In the quietness of this moment, we come before You, acknowledging Your sovereignty and grace. We are reminded of the profound truth encapsulated in the words of 3 John 1:8 from the King James Version, where it is said, "We therefore ought to receive such, that we might be fellowhelpers to the truth." Lord, we humbly seek to understand and embody the essence of this scripture, as we endeavor to become instruments of Your truth in a world filled with deception.

Father, we thank You for the gift of truth. Your Word is a lamp unto our feet and a light unto our path (Psalm 119:105). It guides us through the darkness and leads us toward righteousness. As we embrace the call to be fellowhelpers to the truth, may we first recognize that this truth is not merely a concept, but a person—Your Son, Jesus Christ, who declared, "I am the way, the truth, and the life" (John 14:6). Let our lives be a reflection of Him, shining brightly in a world that often veers away from Your ways.

Lord, grant us the wisdom and the discernment to distinguish between truth and lies as we engage with those around us. Help us to receive those who come in Your name, who share the good news of salvation, and who labor diligently in spreading the Gospel. May we be the kind of community that welcomes such individuals with open hearts and open arms, recognizing that in receiving them, we are also receiving You.

We pray for unity within the Body of Christ, that we may come together as fellowhelpers, bound by a common purpose—the advancement of Your kingdom. Help us to lay aside our differences and embrace the diversity among us, remembering that we are all called to serve the one true God. Fill our hearts with love and compassion so that we may support each other, engage in fruitful dialogue, and work collectively for the cause of the Gospel.

Heavenly Father, in our desire to be fellowhelpers to the truth, inspire us to act. May our deeds reflect the love of Christ and draw others towards Him. Teach us to find practical ways to serve—through acts of kindness, encouragement, and by offering our resources for the furtherance of Your work. We acknowledge that there are many barriers that can hinder our ability to help—be it fear, prejudice, or apathy. We ask that You would break down these walls, replacing them with boldness, empathy, and a genuine concern for others.

May the truth which we are called to uphold encourage us to live lives that are characterized by integrity and authenticity. Let our words and actions align in the pursuit of holiness, showing to the world the transformative power of Your love. As fellowhelpers, let us embody the principle of servanthood that Christ exemplified, always considering the welfare of others and placing their needs before our own.

Lord, we also lift up those who are steadfast in their mission to spread the Gospel, both near and far. Protect them, strengthen them, and may they find joy in their labor for Your truth. Let our hearts be stirred to support these workers, whether through prayer or provision, that they may thrive in their calling.

As we close this prayer, let us never forget the great commission You entrusted to us—to go therefore and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Ghost (Matthew 28:19). Help us in our commitment to be fellowhelpers to the truth, that we might glorify You in all that we do. May our lives be a testimony to the transformative power of Your love and truth.
