O Mighty Creator, Eternal God,

We come before You in a spirit of humility and reverence, acknowledging the countless blessings You have bestowed upon us through the ages. We stand in awe of Your Word, as it reveals Your character, Your purposes, and Your divine will for our lives. Lord, we turn our attention to the sacred words of 2 Timothy 3:16, where it is declared, "All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness."

In this moment, we ask for a profound understanding of what it means that all Scripture is "given by inspiration of God." We recognize that Your Holy Spirit moved in the hearts of men, guiding them to pen the truths and narratives that illuminate Your scriptures. We pray that we may never take this sacred privilege lightly, but approach Your Word with a deep sense of honor and gratitude, knowing it has been divinely appointed for our benefit.

Dear Lord, as we meditate on the nature of Your Word, we seek to embrace the truth that it is profitable for doctrine. Guide us to study diligently and to apply its teachings to our lives.
