Heavenly Father,

I bow before You today with a heart full of reverence and gratitude, reflecting on the greatness of Your Word and the empowering stories found within it. As I meditate on 2 Samuel 23:28, which speaks of Zalmon the Ahohite and Maharai the Netophathite, I am reminded of the valor and dedication displayed by these men. They stood by David, not only as warriors but as symbols of loyalty and courage in times of trouble. Lord, I thank You for the examples of faithfulness and bravery found in Your scripture, and I seek to embody these qualities in my own life.

O Lord, as I consider the names mentioned in this verse, I ask that You help me to recognize the Zalmon and Maharai in my own life. Help me to be a source of courage and strength for my friends and family, just as Zalmon and Maharai stood strong for David.
