Heavenly Father,

In humble reverence, we gather before You this day, our hearts uplifted in gratitude and reverence for Your word which guides and strengthens us. As we reflect upon the passage from 2 Samuel 23:27, which states, "Abiezer the Anethothite, Mebunnai the Hushathite," I am reminded of the loyalty and bravery of these men who stood steadfast in their purpose.

Lord, I call upon You to instill within us the spirit of Abiezer and Mebunnai. These mighty warriors were not just soldiers; they were individuals of courage and conviction who dedicated their lives to defending the cause of David. They exemplified unwavering loyalty, traits that we aspire to embody in our own lives. Help us to draw on their attributes in our daily struggles and battles.
